Welcome to Holtwhites Bowls Club
Are you thinking of playing bowls? We do hope so. It is a great form of exercise and a way of making new friends. We are a very friendly club of around 40 members. Not too big and not too small. Just right!
This means we are very supportive of members, and everyone gets to play. No booking of rinks or waiting to play in competitive games. Everyone is valued and encouraged in their play.
We hold very regular roll-ups for anyone to enjoy each other’s company and improve their game. We hold fun bowls days and have an active social programme. And, of course, everything is combined with coffee/tea and CAKE.
We also enjoy our competitive games; friendlies with our local clubs and many of our members enter external competitions.

A Gallant Effort: Paul Walters Falls Just Short in North London & Finchley Singles Semi-Final
In the North London & Finchley Singles competition, Paul Walters took to the green in the semi-finals. While the result didn’t go his way, Paul’s performance throughout the tournament has been outstanding, and his run to the final four is to be applauded.
We extend our biggest congratulations to Paul for reaching the semi-final.
Well done, Paul! We look forward to seeing you go one step further next year.
New Bowlers
We always give a very warm welcome to new bowlers. All you need is a flat-soled pair of shoes and the bowls will be provided.
Members are always happy to give advice and instruction to anyone new. Just come along any Monday evening at 6 pm or Saturday morning at 10.00 am during May or use our Contact page for more details.
New members are always welcome though at any point in the season – May – September. We invite you to get in touch to arrange a visit and try us out. You will not regret it.
